Welcome to the 2016-17 school year at Central Junior High. My name is Mr. Fiske and I will be teaching Introduction to Engineering and Concepts of Engineering.

HEB ISD has many Career and Technology options for students at they enter High School. It is my desire to bridge the gap so students interested in engineering, STEM and technology will enter the Buinger CTE academy (if they choose) with all the prerequisites needed for success. The CATE program at Central JH has many experiments and projects planned for this year for students to understand the many stages of engineering.

I look forward to the upcoming adventure in teaching at CJH. Classroom Engagement is my #1 goal. I expect students to come into my classroom ready to work with their classmates, collaborate, think outside the box, develop their own ideas, turn in projects on time. I will be available for after school tutoring when necessary.

I’m so excited about the upcoming year! I’m so thankful for the opportunity to pass on knowledge of the engineering field to your child.
