Welcome to Mrs. Duncan's 8th Grade Reading Class!

Hello Central Junior High Spartans! My name is Mrs. Duncan, and I will be your 8th Grade Reading teacher for the 2017-2018 school year.

A bit about myself:  I have taught for 16 years in many different places to include ND, HI, and NH.  I am married to a meteorologist and we have three grown children and two amazing granddaughters.  We are fortunate to have lived in seven different countries and six states due to my husband's Air Force career.  I love teaching and learning.  I received my Bachelor's of Education from Minot State University in 2000, and my Master's of Education from New England College in 2010; and just because I am so passionate about education, I recently finished my Doctorate in Education with a focus on reading from New England College in May 2016.  When not in school, my hobbies include reading, hiking, cooking, and of course, traveling.

I look forward to getting to know all of my students and having a wonderful year of learning and laughter.
