Dear parents and students,

This will be my fourth year of teaching and I have a burning desire to see each of my 1st grade students have the best academic year of their lives. I have an Early Childhood through Fourth Grade certification, as well as an English as a Second Language Supplemental certification. In addition, I also have about three years of experience working in the classroom as a substitute teacher and more than twelve years of experience working with children. Thank you to all of the students and family that come to MOOSE Night (Meet the Teacher Night) on August 21st, 2017. We have a great year ahead of us, full of lots of adventures and growth. I'm waiting for YOU, come visit me in room 502!!!

Mrs. Parker’s Class 1st Grade Mission Statement

Students will learn about Math and Reading, as well as how to be respectful and make new friends. We will do this by listening to teachers, reading often, cooperating and working with tools. Therefore, by the end of first grade we will meet or exceed all report card expectations.

First Grade Mission Statement

Our Mission for our First Graders is to provide a safe, fair, and nurturing learning environment. We will encourage growth and confidence through quality instruction to prepare them for success in Second Grade.
