If you are interested in joining our program please pick up an application in the office. Please read through it carefully and return it to the office. Currently the programs at Hurst Hills and Wilshire are full with a waiting list.
THE SCHOOLS OF CHOICE WINDOW IS CURRENTLY OPEN. If you wanting to start in HEBISD Suzuki Strings you need to reapply each year. Even if you have filled out an application in the past you need to fill out a new application during the Schools of Choice window which is open now through February 20th.

Here is a brief bio about Mrs. Tomlinson:
Amy Tomlinson was born in San Diego and started playing the violin in a public school orchestra program in the 5th grade. She studied Music Education and earned all-level music certification at The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating from UT Mrs. Tomlinson traveled to Greenville, NC where she studied Suzuki pedagogy and earned a masters degree in Violin performance at East Carolina University.
Mrs. Tomlinson started teaching Suzuki strings in HEBISD in 2003. She lives in Bedford with her husband, two young boys and cat Gus. Her five year old attends Bedford Heights and studies Suzuki piano and her three year old studies Suzuki violin.
Mrs. Tomlinson has some of the most caring and hard working families in the HEB program. She looks forward to teaching her sweet students every day.
