DISTRICT MISSION... The mission of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD Library Technology Services Department is to be an active participant in every child’s education, to empower students and staff to be effective users of ideas and information, and to enrich the district curriculum by providing physical and intellectual access to materials in multiple formats, as we promote an enthusiasm for reading, life-long learning, and prepare our students to achieve in the 21st Century. About KEYS Library… Our library has a wide variety of books to peak anyone’s interest. We have computers available for the students to either research on or do their Odysseyware assignments on. We have two video rooms available for students to view videos required by their teachers. Student ID’s are required for books and headphones to be checked out. A minimum of 2 books can be checked out at a time for a 2 week period. After the due, any books not returned on time will accumulate a 10 cents fine per day. If a book is lost, the student is responsible for reimbursement of the book. Our hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m. There are three basic rules of the library: 1. Work quietly on assignments. 2. No Food or Drink allowed. 3. No IPODs or listening to music on the computer. |
If we don't have a book you would like, let us know and we will try to get it for you. HAVE YOU READ A GOOD BOOK TODAY? |
