Welcome!  I am excited to have the opportunity of teaching both 7th and 8th grade science this year and hope to not only teach my students how science relates to their everday lives, but also impart a passion for the study of it.  While 7th grade will be exploring the various aspects of life science, 8th grade will be studying topics from a composite of scientific disciplines that include geology, meterology, chemistry, biology, astronomy, and more.

As your student's teacher, I will do my best to ensure your child has a successful year.  But to do so, my students need to do their part in being responsible for their work by studying and turning in assignments on time, coming to school everday, and also making sure they have their supplies daily, so that they are prepared to learn.  Please feel free to e-mail or call with any questions or concerns as I will do my best to respond in a timely manner.

Thank you for the privilege of being your child's teacher this year! - Mrs. Kethavong
