Welcome To Mrs. Neal's 6th Grade Math Class!!! 



The first day of school is Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Parents should register at the neighborhood school serving their residential address.  All students must bring current proof of residence.  This may be in the form of a July/August utility bill (water, electric, or gas only) or a current lease  with the parent/guardian listed.

July 26, 2017: Returning Student Registration 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM

August 1, 2017: Late Returning Student Registration Opportunity 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

August 2, 2017: Pre-K Registration 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

August 3, 2017: New Student Registration 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Online Registration

Online registration is available for returning students only. Online registration for the 2017-2018 school year will be available starting on July 11, 2017 and will be open through July 26, 2017. You will need the "snapcode" that was included with your child's final report card from the 2016-2017 school year

6th Grade Mission Statement

The mission of the 6th grade team is to provide rigorous curriculum necessary to meet the challenges of students' individual learning needs in an atmosphere that fosters strong character, encourages cooperative and whole group learning, building cross-curriculum connections through real life experience, while ensuring student safety and preparing for 6th grade and beyond.


Class Mission Statement

The mission of Mrs. Neal’s Math classes is to be successful in math class, school, and life by passing all of our tests.  We will accomplish this goal by working together as a team, listening and paying attention to our teacher and classmates, participating in each lesson and activity, and putting forth our best effort. 

Strategic Goal

By the end of the 2016-2017 school year, 100% of Mrs. Neal's students will meet or exceed the expectations for 6th grade math standards as measured by a score of Level II or better on the district and state assessments.

I will set high expectations for my students and will give them the skills needed to meet those expectations.  I will do this by creating a safe and comfortable learning environment, developing positive relationships with each student and motivating, encouraging and supporting my students each day.
