  The Trinity High School Math Department will hold our diverse student population to high standards which will build the mathematical skills and understanding needed to meet the requirements for high school graduation and for career or college readiness.

Advance Quantitative Reasoning 
 
The Advanced Quantitative Reasoning (AQR) is a post-Algebra II alternative to Precalculus for students who have completed Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. The AQR course develops mathematical know-howncy and quantitative literacy. It is a solution to the fourth year of high school mathematics required by the state of Texas. The two-semester class will cover the units below:

 

Unit I: Analyzing Numerical Data

Unit II: Probability

Unit III: Statistical studies

Unit IV: Using Recursion in Models and Decision Making

Unit V: Using Functions in Models and Decision Making

Unit VI: Decision Making in Finance

Unit VII: Networks and Graphs
