I am excited to begin my 11th year of teaching and my 4th year here at North Euless Elementary.  I will update my page closer to the beginning of the year but I wanted to keep a few important reminders on here for you. If you have registration questions please contact the NEE office.

August 2nd - Pre-K registration 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

August 3rd - New Student Registration 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

August 21st - Meet the Teacher (two sessions 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.)

August 23rd - First Day of School (7:50 start time).

5th Grade Mission Statement

Our grade level mission is to provide quality and rigorous curriculum necessary to meet the challenges of students’ individual learning needs in an atmosphere that fosters strong character, encourages cooperative and whole group learning, building cross-curriculum connections through real life experience, while ensuring student safety.


Class Strategic Plan

By the end of the 2015-2016 school year,100% of Mrs. Nelson’s 5th Grade class will score level II on STAAR Reading, Math and Science and at least 85% on all CBA’s and DBA’s.


The Mission of Mrs. Nelson’s 5th grade class is to pass our subjects and STAAR; prepare for life/ jobs/ college; and become owners of our learning.

      We will accomplish this by setting goals, working as a team that supports each other, and being respectful and responsible.
