All Pre-AP/IB Students...make sure you have your assignment for Lord of the Flies. We will take a very detailed test over the book the first week of school.

Pre-AP/IB English 2
This class is designed for college-bound students who desire a rigorous, advanced-level course that involves the development of successful study habits, analysis and criticism of literary works, and oral and written expression that centers on the development of theses supported by text evidence and proven by commentary. Part A of the course includes a study of William Golding's Lord of the Flies, Antigone by Sophocles, and Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare . Part B of the course will include Ishmael Beah's A Long Way Gone and William Shakespeare's The Tempest.
 

AP/IB English 4
  English IV AP/IB is a course designed to provide students with collegiate level instruction in the secondary school setting. The curriculum presents advanced students with rigorous academic challenge and opportunities to earn college credit for their efforts.

As the course progresses, seniors in the AP/IB program will strive to prepare for a variety of important tests which are necessary to fulfill college admission standards and guidelines. These tests include assorted college entrance exams such as the SAT/ACT.
