Welcome to English II. English II is offered both in the fall and spring trimesters. Our course is divided into three main units. In the first trimester of English II, we will immerse ourselves in intense EOC Test prep that explores multiple genres. As we read, we will also focus on essential English skills necessary for both a life-time of success as well as passing the English II EOC test. These skills include but are not limited to: comprehension, literary concepts, word work (AKA: vocabulary), grammar, usage, mechanics, and, of course, composition.
