Welcome to Mrs. Nankivell's 5th Grade Class!

A little bit about me... I am the 5th grade Science/Social Studies teacher and I am so excited to be a North Euless Cowboy! I graduated from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  Shortly after, I obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UTA.  I grew up going to school in HEB, and after I graduated I couldn't imagine a better place to teach. I know that we are going to have a fantastic year. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your 5th grader.

HEB Core Messages 1. Students are responsible for their own learning. 2. Quality teachers and effective schools are essential to students' learning. 3. Parents and patrons are vital partners in the educational process. 4. A safe environment for every student and employee is a prerequisite to learning. 5. Decisions and actions, at all levels, focus on and support effective student learning.
