My classes use an online class environment that hosts all daily assignments. Students can access the class website by clicking on the link below and using their username and password.

Google Classroom

Parents, if you would like to access the class website your son/daughter will have to share their username and password with you.

Course Objectives 

Busness Information Management I (BIM I)

  • The student develops skills for success in the workplace.
  • The student selects appropriate technology to address business needs.
  • The student applies word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing & presentation technology.  (Using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, & Google Docs)
  • The student exchanges information via telecommunications technology with appropriate supervision.
  • The student identifies the concepts of a computer network.
  • The student analyzes computer operating systems and emerging technologies.

Busness Information Management 2 (BIM 2)

  • The student applies word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing & presentation technology.  (Using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, & MS PowerPoint)
  • Students are prepared for Expert Level MOS Certification Exams for each software program
  • BIM 2 is a Teir I class. However, if a student passes the Expert Level MOS exam (each trimester), BIM 2 is a Teir II class. 

Web Design

  • The student develops skills for success in the workplace and career development.
  • The student uses demonstrate knowledge and appropriate use of computer hardware, software, and their connections.
  • The student complies with the laws and examines the issues regarding the use of technology in society.
  • The student evaluates acquired electronic information.
  • The student researches and evaluates problems using computer based productivity tools.
  • The student formats effective communication using a variety of media.
