Welcome to Mrs. Polley's

Home Page!

Welcome to Mrs. Polley's Kindergarten Class Website. Here you will find important information about things going on in our class.

This is my 18th year working in HEB ISD, and my 12th year teaching Kindergarten right here at Hurst Hills Elementary. I love teaching and living in this community.  I enjoy teaching Kindergarten because I get to help young children learn to be students and hopefully develop a love of learning.

I have raised four sons who all attended Hurst Hills. My husband and I have had an empty nest since the youngest left for Texas A&M after graduating from LD Bell in 2013.  I also have three wonderful grandchildren.   When I am not teaching I stay very busy spending time with my family and friends, having my grandchildren visit, attending church and church activities, and coaching gymnastics at Pennington Stadium in the evenings.  In the summer, I like to vacation in places I can swim, hike, and raft.  Also during the summer I also travel for mission work and help at a summer camp in Granbury.

I look forward to an excellent year with your child! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns 817-283-4461 x5379 or elissapolley@hebisd.edu.
