About Donna Park The shared vision of the Donna Park Elementary staff, students, parents and community is excellence for all. The school affirms that every child can and will succeed in ways that reflect his/her own aptitude and interests. From our dedicated staff and supportive parents to volunteers and community partners, the success and well-being of Donna Park students comes first. Donna Park is a Texas Education Agency EXEMPLARY campus. Donna Park students have the opportunity to participate in special activities throughout the year which enhance their growth and development: Scholastic Reading Counts, Field Trips, an Extended Day program, PTA School Carnival, 6th Grade CHAMPS, Waterford Reading Program, PTA Family Events, etc. Participation with our community contributes to the success of our students. It is our privilege to have the Star-Telegram and St. Paul United Methodist Church as Donna Park community partners. This Adopt-A-School partnership enhances learning at Donna Park as these two organizations work closely with the school to meet the needs of students and families. Due to their tremendous efforts, the Star-Telegram, St. Paul United Methodist Church and Donna Park Elementary received the 2002 Adopt-A-School Partnership Award. All teachers at Donna Park are 100% highly qualified according to TEA guidelines. |
School Hours School begins at 8:00am and ends at 3:00pm. The first bell rings at 7:50am and the tardy bell rings at 8:00am. The school is open at 7:20am for early arrival. The students must go in the cafeteria or the gym, if they arrive before 7:50am. Breakfast is served from 7:20am-7:50am. Remember, a GREAT day at Donna Park BEGINS at 7:50am! |
