2012-2013 KEYS Graduation
The graduation ceremony for the 2012-2013 Graduates of KEYS Learning Center will be held at the L.D. Bell High School Auditorium, 1601 Brown Trail, Hurst, Texas - on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 7:00 pm. Tickets are required to enter the auditorium. Each graduate is allowed eight (8) tickets; please remember to pick up and sign for tickets.
Last day to pick up tickets is Thursday, May 23, 2013.
Graduating seniors must be in the school's gym by 5:30 p.m. the day of the ceremony - with cap and gown for practice and group pictures. All outstanding fees must be paid and attendance requirements must be made up prior to graduation.

KEYS Awarded TRTF Classroom Assistance Grant
A grant proposal submitted by KEYS was selected over 70 other applications received from across the state of Texas!
The Texas Retired Teachers Foundation "Classroom Assistance Grant" offers funding to select classroom projects. The grant money will benefit KEYS students enrolled in Economics, Money Matters, and Personal Finance during the 2013-2014 school year. Plans are to organize two field trips to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Ft. Worth.
KEYS offers their student population a "self-accelerated" curriculum - but does not offer any extracurricular activities. Therefore, with limited revenue budgets for field trips - the grant money will provide a unique "financial" educational experience to the students we serve in our economics, and personal finance classes. Economic teachers are Ms. Janet Steffen and Ms. Jackie Reily; teaching Personal Finance/Money Matters are Ms. Lunessa Wade and Ms. Monica Chavez. Congratulations!
