TCU Will Display Lakewood Art |

Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth has invited Lakewood to participate in their “School of the Month” Display in the Moudy (Art) Building across from room 208. Ten pieces of Lakewood student art will be on exhibit for the month of January. TCU has three goals for the display: to provide a showcase for local art student’s work, to connect art students in the community to the Art Department at Texas Christian University, and to inform the TCU students and staff about the artwork that is being created in art educator’s classrooms in the community.
Lakewood artists Janae J., grade 1; Alexander C., grade 2; Karli S, grade 2; Byron B, grade 4; Fal M, grade 6; Hana P, grade 6; Amila P, grade 3; Avery F, grade 3; Mary Shannon S, grade 2; and Mickaela P, grade 6 will each begin the New Year as Lakewood’s art ambassadors with a piece in the TCU exhibit. Beginning Friday, December 18, visitors to TCU can view the art. |
