2009 Trinity IB graduate Alnawaz Devani was recently featured in an ad for the HEB IB program. Devani is a freshman at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. JUDY SCHAEFER - TEACHER OF THE YEAR
Judy Schaefer is Señora to all her students. She is also now Trinity High School's Teacher of the Year. For 15 years Judy has been the lead teacher of the World Languages Department and taught Pre AP/IB, IB and AP Spanish. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin and received advanced degrees from the University of Madrid (Spain) and the University of Texas-Austin. Judy has been happily married to her husband for over 42 years and is the proud mother of two children. Señora Schaefer's teaching enthusiasm is contagious and she brings a smile to everyone that she meets.

7 Make Academic All-District
Trinity is proud to have 7 football players who were not only state champions on the field, but also champions in the classroom. These players are among our IB and AP students but still are maintaining a 90 average. The All-District Academic team member from Trinity are Jerry Adams, Brandon Baker, Andrew Eteaki, Hunter Freeman, Sam Gautsche, Sione Moeakiola and E.J. Souter.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE STUDENTS COMPETE
The Criminal Justice Club and classes won 16 trophies in the 2010 Regional TPSA Skills Competition at the Police Academy at TCC Northwest.
In all, 24 students from both high schools competed with 16 of them placing, making many of them eligible to competed at the state level in May at Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas. 2nd place winners from Trinity include Kaylin Hernandez, Toniqua Henry, Elizabeth Hadley, Meleane Fa and Michael Blackmore. 3rd place winners include Eric Porter McCort. John McCollum, Juana Flores and Matt Harrison were multiple winners, taking third place in two different categories.

CHEERLEADERS WIN AT NATIONALS
Recently the Trinity cheerleaders participated in the "American Championship." They placed first in their medium varsity division and placed second among all of the high schools in all divisions in the competition.
