Extendend Day Academy Mission:
Our mission is to recognize and value the importance of our contribution to the development of each child in our care.
We will provide for our children and parents a safe and nurturing environment where childern can grow, learn and succeed in both academic and social areas through an organized structure of play and learning experiences.
Our Extended Day Academy Goals:
In our supervised program at all HEB elementary schools, students participate in academic enrichment, homework time, creativity time, and recreational activities.
About the program:
The HEB ISD Extended Day Academy is an after school academy held on each of the district's 20 elementary school campuses. Each academy provides the children with a safe and fun environment from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on each regular school day. Snacks are provided each day for the students. Each student is also provided time to complete homework assignments, participate in computer lab, craft activities, along with physical activities both in the gymnasium and on the outdoor playground. Each academy has 1 director, and the number of workers that will maintain a 15 to 1 ratio with the students.
Enrollment is completed at the campus academy with the campus director. Parents will need to complete the following documents in the enrollment process:
A $25.00 non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. First month's tuition is due by the first day of school. Monthly tuition is $160.00 a month per child, and is due thereafter on the 5th of each month. We have several different payment methods which include: Automatic withdrawal from your account (ACH) payment by check given to the academy director, bill pay through your bank, and payment through our Tuition Express on-line payment system, or credit card. Registration is in full swing on our campuses. Many of our returning students have enrolled for the 2014-2015 school year, welcome back.
If you have not already registered you may register at the FEW building, 1100 Raider Dr. Euless, August 11th-14th 9:00am-12:00/1:00pm-4:00pm or August 18th-20th 9:00am-12:00pm/ 1:00pm-4:00pm.
**Space is limited on the campus and our spaces do fill up quickly. When a school has reached capacity your child will be placed on a waiting list. (Positions will be filled on a first come, first served bases.)
***Reminder: All previous balances must be paid before enrolling.
The registration fee is $25.00. (You will need a check or money order made out to HEB ISD to be able to register.)
August/September tuition of $160.00 will be due no later than the first day of attendance.
Many of our directors will be at Meet the Teacher night on Aug. 21st to answer questions or for late registrations.
Exciting news... We will be offering automatic withdrawal (ACH) for your tuition for the 2014-2015 school year. Check with your director to sign up. The first payment will need to be paid by check, money order or credit card. ACH will begin with the October payment.
Employees of HEB ISD will be able to enroll in payroll deduction for their tuition payment.
