During the school year it may be necessary for your child to take medication while at school. Please contact me before sending medicine, including over the counter medications, cough drops, etc., to school with your child. A physician's order and a parent's signature is always required before medication can be given by the school nurse.
We recommend you do not send your child to school with any of the following:
Severly upset stomach
extremely runny nose with a cold
sore throat (with difficulty swallowing)
fever of 100.4 degrees or more BEFORE Tylenol/Motrin
undiagnosed skin rash
diarrhea
severe earache
persistent cough
irritation of eye(s) with white or crusty drainage
severe headaches
head lice
Please contact me at anytime for concerns regarding your child's health or medication needs. You may call my office at (817)399-3549, or e-mail me using the link to the left.
