About the program:

The HEB ISD Extended Day Academy is an after school academy held on each of the district's 19 elementary school campuses.  Each academy provides the children with a safe and fun environment from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on each regular school day. Snacks are provided each day for the students. Each student is also provided time to complete homework assignments, participate in computer lab, craft activities, along with physical activities both in the gymnasium and on the outdoor playground. Each academy has 1 director, and the number of workers that will maintain a 15 to 1 ratio with the students.

Enrollment is completed at the campus academy with the campus director. Parents will need to complete the following documents in the enrollment process:

  • Enrollment form for each child
  • Parent Pick-up Authorization form
  • Health and Emergency Information form
  • Fee Agreement

A $25.00 non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment.  The yearly payment schedule is also located on this site; however, monthly tuition is $160.00 a month/child, and is due by the 5th business day of each month.  We have several different payment methods which include: payment by check given to the academy director, bill pay through your bank, and payment through our Tuition Express on-line payment system, or credit card. Students who are currently enrolled in the Extended Day Academy may pre-register for the 2013-2014 school year during the week of May 13th - 17th. A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 is required, along with a $0.00 account balance in order to pre-register.

Students wishing to attend Extended Day Academy in the 2013-2014 school year but are not currently enrolled, may pre-register during the week of May 20th - 24th. A non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 is required at the time of enrollment.
