Welcome to Mr. Belcher's Home Page

Welcome to Central Junior High, home of the SPARTANS.  Our campus is dedicated to providing a rigorous academic climate in a safe environment that focuses on teaching great character.

We enrich core instruction with Art, Physical Education, Career and Technology, STEM, Athletics, Band, and Choir.  Our campus is also home to the HEBISD International Business Initiative. This program offers instruction in Spanish and French, and Central JH is the only campus to offer Asian language classes (Mandarin Chinese, Hindi and Arabic).  In addition, Central JH is the only HEBISD junior high campus to offer a comprehensive orchestra program.  Central JH is also unique among HEB ISD junior highs in that students zoned for both LD Bell High School and Trinity High School attend the school.

We are a 7th grade through 9th grade campus that finished the 2016 - 2017 school year with 1,030 students.  We begin our day at 8:05 a.m. and end at 3:15 p.m. Our doors open at 7:20 a.m. and students eating breakfast should arrive by 7:40 a.m.  It is important to note our students should be picked up, supervised in a program with a teacher or staff member, or off-campus by 3:30 p.m.

I encourage you to stay in touch with your student's teacher and be involved with their education by becoming a member of our PTA.  We encourage and appreciate your support. Visit the calendar on this page, Central Junior High's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CJHSpartans, and follow my twitter feed for important updates about weekly news about our school @RandyBelcherCJH.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any assistance.
