Inclement Weather and Lightning Information
Hurst JH parents and community- Our district has installed lightning detectors (Thor) on our buildings. When there is a threat of lightening, a very loud horn will sound that can be heard around the outside of the school. The horn is different from the City of Hurst's weather siren, which is also very close to the school. If you are in the area and hear a loud, sustained horn, it is Thor. This means that students and adults should seek shelter from lightening.

Feel free to contact Principal Russo if you have any questions- 817-399-3065.

Please, read the attached note from Ms. Russo about severe weather procedures.
