The HEB ISD VIPS Background Check System is ready to process HEB ISD volunteers!
Remember, background checks will take up to 48 hours to process. NOTE – the box in the upper right corner of background check page will be RED “Pending”, or BLUE “Up to Date”. The background check is not complete until box is... BLUE.
We will allow Positive Proof to be used for volunteer activities ONLY until Friday, January 16, 2015. This marks the end of the first semester. Once the second semester begins on Tuesday, January 20, all volunteers must have had their online background check processed in order to volunteer on campus.
We have booked a couple of badge sessions at the Pat May Center in January to make VIPS badges for volunteers once they have completed their background check. We will require the following documentation to be brought to the VIPS badge sessions:
1) A printed out paper copy of a completed background check showing the volunteer’s 2015 background check expiry date (your VIPS credentials).
2) A photo ID (driver’s license or passport).
3) Your old VIPS badge, if available (will be destroyed).
We cannot accept an image of a completed background check on a smartphone or device. You MUST bring a print out of your new VIPS credentials.
