Fourth Grade Writing Olympics (March 2014)

Fourth graders at Hurst Hills have spent many months in "training" and are now "competing" in their own grade level version of Writing Olympics.  Each student is working each day through quick writes to improve, polish and build endurance with their personal compositions. A daily mini lesson, a prompt, a planning session and a 20 minute quick write are all culminated with a medal ceremony each day! They are eagerly watching the medal counts between each rotation as well as watching the daily grade level results against our grade level goals.  Together we are working for 100% Bronze and 20% plus Gold!  Hurst Hills Falcons are "Going for Gold!"
