Midway Park Elementary 1977-1982: Mid Cities Pee Wee Football; 4 years, Record 6 Touchdowns One Game. Little Dribblers Basketball; 4 years, 3 Time All-Star. Little League Baseball; 7 Years, 7 Time All-Star. Euless Junior High 1983-1985: Football, Basketball, and Track. Trinity High School 1986-1988: Football, Basketball, and Track. All-District, All-Region, All State Track in Multiple Events. Prestigious Golden West Invitational Long Jump 1988, Graduated Top Ten Percent. Texas A& M 1991: Achieved B.S. Economics degree in 3 years, Two Time GTE Academic Athletic All-American. Decathlon: All Time SWC Record Holder, Third Place NCAA National Championship 1990, 2nd Place NCAA National Championship 1991, Two Time SWC Champion. Inducted into Texas A&M Athletic Hall of Fame 2008. Professional Decathlon: Number 10 American All Time, 8404, Ranked in Top 15 in the World 1994-2000, U.S. Olympic Trials 3 times, 2nd Place U.S. Championships 1998, Top 10 U.S. Championships 8 times. Heptathlon: U.S. Indoor Champion 1997-1998, Number 9 American All Time, 6120.
