INDUCTED FEBRUARY 6, 2010

Attended South Hurst Elementary, Hurst Junior High, L.D. Bell High, Graduated 1963.  Colleges: Ranger Junior, Texas Wesleyan, B.S. 1968, Texas A&M Commerce, Masters.  Starting forward on Bell's final four basketball team, 1963.  All star cast Bell's one act play.  Coached varsity sports in 10 different schools: 16 years girl's basketball, 29 years boy's basketball, 20 years football, 16 years boys & girls track, one year baseball.  Involved as head coach 31 times in state playoffs.  Sixty consecutive district wins in boy's basketball.  Undefeated state champion, 1980-1981.  Awarded by Texas Basketball Association "The Coach who makes a Difference".  Inducted Texas Basketball Hall of Fame 2004.  Interim song director three different churches.  Poem included in Texas Basketball Newsletter.  His greatest reward is the satisfaction of being fair between the lines, placing God first in coaching, and loving kids enough to give his best.
