INDUCTED FEBRUARY 6, 2010

Native and lifelong resident of Texas.  University of North Texas: Bachelor of Science, Master of Education, Doctorate.  Honored as "Distinguished Alumnus".  A professional educator in Texas 45 years as a teacher, coach, elementary and secondary principal with 35 of these years as a Superintendent of Schools.  Superintendent HEB ISD 13 years.  Considers these years to be the "Golden Years" of his career.  The Forrest E. Watson Education Center established in his honor.  The leader in the design and construction of Pennington Field.  Credits the quality of team work and leadership of all for the outstanding academic and sports achievements of the students and staff.  Retired June, 1991.  Called back to serve an interim period for the Keller ISD.  The interim lasted 3 years.  Retired from the pubic schools a second time June, 1996.  "What you leave being is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others."
