History of the Truck:

David Hale, Jeffrey's granddad was the previous owner of the truck and Jeffrey was very close to him because they both loved fishing any time, any day, and anywhere. Jeffrey would spend time in Florida with him fishing and they would always use this truck. Jeffrey would help him with minor repairs like water pumps, radiator hoses, breaks, fuel pumps, oil changes, etc. When his granddad passed away in August of 2005, his grandmother gave Jeffrey this truck. Jeffrey used it for work and pleasure, which included a lot of fishing trips!

Jeff and Sue Morris donated the truck to the HEB ISD Auto Collision classes for the purpose of making it into an art car. All of the students have been so eager with ideas and the teamwork is amazing to watch. They are continually thinking of Jeffrey, a man they never knew, throughout the process.
