The very best academically productive time parents can spend is 10 minutes per night for homework. Start with checking Homework of each class online. Check the teacher's given work with the student's assignment book entries. If these match, the student begins working, generally alone. When finished the parent checks the work for completeness. Keep in mind:

1. Do not accept the excuse "I left it in my locker." Incomplete work or zeros will result.
2. Do not accept "The teacher took it up." We NEVER take up homework early.
3. Do not accept "I left my books at school." There is a set of textbooks on reserve at the public library.
