Spanish Immersion is offered to English-speaking students entering first grade at Bedford Heights (and Meadow Creek) elementary school, with the goal of facility in Spanish by completion of sixth grade. All classes attended by participants in the program - including math, science, and social studies - are taught in Spanish, while English is studied and read at home. Students continue in the program throughout elementary school and will continue their studies in seventh grade at Bedford Junior High.

The Hurst-Euless-Bedford school district is proud to provide elementary students with enriched educational choices beyond the traditional framework of excellent neighborhood schools. The Schools of Choice programs allow students to cultivate special talents at an early age.
