The Communications Department has five staff members who are responsible for all facets of public relations, including websites, publications, and community relations programs.

Judy oversees public relations and project management activities for the district including media relations, community relations, employee relations, crisis communications, event planning, and marketing.

Mandy Eliot, Community Relations Liason

Mandy manages the VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) and AAS (Adopt-a-School) programs, including 600,000 volunteer hours and thousands of business & organization donations each year.

Carolyn oversees the HEB ISD web presence including the main district website, the Edge, and all campus websites. She also contributes graphic design and advertising, video production, and videography/photography for web- and communications-related projects.

Dave provides website support and training to 1300 staff who maintain more than 14,000 webpages, posts district news and photos, and manages official social media accounts. Additional responsibilities include event photography and other web- and communications-related projects.
