District Wins Communications Awards

The District's Communications Department has won two Awards of Excellence in the 2005 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition. The District's Web site, www.hebisd.edu, won an award in the Web Site category, and the department also won an award in the Marketing Brochures, Manuals & Reports category, for the Schools of Choice recruiting brochure. APEX awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. The annual competition is presented by Communications Concepts, Inc., which provides publications and programs to PR and marketing professionals nationwide.
