Bell High School:  Fourteen State Gymnastics Titles in the Boys Division and Three in the Girls Division, Fifty-one Individual State Gymnastics Champions, Twelve All American Teams, One Hundred Twenty-three All American Honors, Highest Scoring Ream in U.S. in 1980, Four Time National Coach of the Year;  Consulted in Construction of Forest E. Watson Gym and Hoot Smith Activity Center;  National Association Collegiate Gymnastics Honor Coach Award;  U.S. Gymnastics Federation Service Award;  Founder Gymnastic Programs in Texas Public Schools, Gymnastics Association of Texas, Texas High School Gymnastics Coaches Association, Texas Gymnastics Judges Association;  Member Men's and Women's U.S. Olympic Committee;  Staging Manager Olympic Games, Pan Am Games, World Gymnastics Championship;  Won the First Texas High School Gymnastics State Title at L.D. Bell High School in 1967;  Emil Milan Gymnastic Scholarship Fund Established in 1982;  Devoted His Life to Gymnastics for More than a Quarter of a Century.
