L.D. Bell Band: 2006 Bands of America Arlington Regional Champion

The L.D. Bell Band placed 1st in both preliminary and finals competition at the Bands of America Arlington Regional Championship held at UTA on Saturday October 7th. This BOA Regional Championship included a field of 27 bands from Texas and Oklahoma (http://www.bands.org/public/events/regionals/06.info/tx-ar.asp). Since 2000 the L.D. Bell Band has now medaled at BOA events 12 times. Congratulations to all past and present L.D. Bell Band members, parents, and supporters.

The L.D. Bell Band will compete next at the UIL Region Contest on Tuesday, October 17th, 8:15 PM at Pennington Field. A First Division rating at the Region Contest will advance the band to the UIL Area Contest held on October 28th at Carrollton Standridge Stadium. Should the band advance from the Area Contest, the Bell Band will compete in San Antonio on November 7th at the UIL State Marching Contest. The band will additionally be competing in the Bands of America San Antonio Super Regional on November 4th and the Bands of America Grand National Championship in Indianapolis, IN on November 10th and 11th.
