Red Ribbon Week (October 2013)

Students at Oakwood Terrace Elementary take the pledge to lead drug free lives as they celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Counselor Melinda Lineweaver was instrumental in making this a fun but important week. Students become superheroes when they make the pledge!

Oakwood Terrace would also like to thank Coach Lineweaver and the Trinity Trojan Football team for coming to school during Red Ribbon Week to read to the students and talk about the importance of being drug free. The players shared books that demonstrated various good character qualities, and the students sat captivated by each word they had to say. As an extra treat for the students, the team performed the HAKA before they left. You have made a lasting impression on the students Trinity football team!
