In an abundance of caution, HEB ISD is cancelling all after-school student activities for today, Tuesday, May 21, 2013. All schools will dismiss at the regular time. Buses will run their normal routes at normal times. Something special is going on at Bellaire Elementary! Adult ESL classes have turned into Dual Language classes! English speakers learning Spanish and Spanish speakers learning English, but that’s not all! There are also a couple of very well behaved children who look forward to coming to Mrs. Reyes’ ESL class. In particular, 2 ½ year old David who always reminds his mother that it is time to go learn "A... a... a… apple". Fascinated by the wonderful images on the SMART Board, he loves singing and learning his ABC’s, numbers, colors and so much more alongside his mother. This is one 2 year old getting a great head start in school!
