Who would have thought those cute little Wind-up Wacky Walkers could be used to study energy-potential energy, kinetic energy and even the law of conservation of energy!!!!? The sixth grade students at Bell Manor divided up into teams, were issued a Wacky Walker along with a tape measure and were ready to begin working on data trials. They wound up the Walker two, three, four and five times, then measured the distrance it traveled. They repeated the trials three times, compiled the data and then graphed the information.
Science ROCKS at Bell Manor!
