In an abundance of caution, HEB ISD is cancelling all after-school student activities for today, Tuesday, May 21, 2013. All schools will dismiss at the regular time. Buses will run their normal routes at normal times. January 21, 2009: 85 students earned a ticket to Bluebonnet Breakfast and got to vote for their favorite Bluebonnet book of 2009. Each year students are encouraged to Read 5 and Decide which is their favorite book. It’s the only honor around in which kids actually get to decide what book should win! Wilshire votes will be sent to the state by February 1. In March, the state winner will be announced.
Wilshire had a 3 way tie for first: The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Lawn Boy, & The Thing About Georgie. |
