In an abundance of caution, HEB ISD is cancelling all after-school student activities for today, Tuesday, May 21, 2013. All schools will dismiss at the regular time. Buses will run their normal routes at normal times. Students and Staff at North Euless are ready to celebrate the holidays!!! Santa USA and friends stopped by early Friday morning, but before that, on Thursday morning, first grade students and teachers were invited to a special kick-off breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus. North Euless first graders were the ONLY invited guests of Santa this year - this invitation comes to each elementary school once every 19 years...they loved it!!
Following Santa's visit, students, teachers and staff were treated to a Holiday Concert, with performances by the Cowboy Chorale choir, Suzuki Strings students, and Mrs. Meiers, a third grade teacher, on the harp. We also had a holiday sing-a-long...it was great fun!!! |
