Mrs. Moon, our librarian, and several of the library volunteers hosted the 2nd Annual Bluebonnet Breakfast and Voting on Friday, Jan. 19.   

 The Texas Bluebonnet award is a book selected from a list of twenty.  Our students, grades 3 through 6, are encouraged to read these books. They must have read 5 to be eligible to vote.  But at Wilshire, if you read at least 5 and passed the Reading Counts quiz, you got an invitation to the Bluebonnet Breakfast held January 18 at 7:30 a.m.  We had 88 kids and 10 teachers who qualified!  They enjoyed  on-line voting, biscuits, juice, hot chocolate and many won door prizes. Everyone had a good time.
