BME 6th grade students had to go outside to make room for their distance-model of the Sun and planets.  They scaled the actual distances between the sun and planets down to centimeters, but still needed almost 7 meters of space to show how far apart the planets are.  The planets were not representative of their actual sizes (that lesson was the next day), but the students were able to get a birds-eye view of the spacing in our solar system!
